The constellation is located in the northern sky and consists of about 52 stars. The brightest are 5: Vega (astronomers used it to judge the colors and brightness of other stars), Sulafat, Sheliak, Delta and Doble Doble.
The name Lute comes from the story of the most famous mythological singer Orpheus. The instrument on which he played and charmed all creatures (including streams and rocks) was made by Hermes from the shell of a turtle. It was the first such instrument, so even the sullen guards of Hades could not resist its charm. Thanks to Lute, Orpheus was able to rescue his dead wife Eurydice from the underworld. Unfortunately, at the end of the road, he turned his back on his beloved, causing him to lose her forever. He spent the rest of his life playing and traveling alone around the world. As a reminder of the emotion and harmony it gave to nature, the instrument went to the sky.
